We knew months ago this wedding would be a fantastic one to photograph and boy did we call it! Being held at the Silver leaf country club in Scottsdale, having amazing vendors and an adorable bride and groom, how can you go wrong. Ashley and Joe did such a great job putting their day together and it really shows in their photos. Ashley’s father gave such a touching speech I cried my eyes out, so much that I had to remind myself that I needed dry eyes to keep capturing photos! hee hee
This group of people where all so warm, and extremely easy to work with, you really can’t ask for more. The cake, the food, the floral was all outstanding and don’t even get me started on the amazing band they had!
Check out some of our favorites from their day and if you’re looking for a fantastic vendor for your upcoming wedding check out some of these guys below!

Beth and Matt where sweet as can be from the first minute we met last summer in June. I’ll never forget going through their details as lay where so laid back and completely relaxed about the whole wedding planning thing. I can’t say it enough…..we book the coolest couples! Right from the start we where excited about this half authentic Mission ceremony and then small intimate gathering at their favorite winery. They even had a special wine list for their guests and gave out a bottle to all of their guests as the party favors! We truly enjoyed every moment of their event and couldn’t wait to get home and get these pics into the editing bin!

So I figured it was time to mix it up, after every event we post a general blog on the overall wedding. However this time I thought it would be fun to really give focus to the bridal portait session of our shoot with these two. One thing any professional photographer faces is finding the best location, lighting and backdrop for all of their photos. Not to mention privacy, I know it may sound sorta strange BUT this is such an important factor is really getting the most out of this portion of your photos.
Nothing is more distracting then friends and family standing near by to take you out of your element while we are directing you and trying to squeeze in those last photos before the sunsets and your off to your party. For most brides and grooms they aren’t completely comfortable in front of the camera so to have their full attention is so incredibly important.
When we take our couples off to do their portraits it really allows them to be themselves and get lost in each other, which is the main key to really grabbing those moments. We don’t pose our couples, we lead them into a … Read More »
Gathering images for a wedding that I didn’t get to shoot is always different obviously then the weddings I am at. Well this is one of those weddings I was not able to shoot as I was booked with another client on the same day. However you know the saying a picture tells a thousand words? These pictures tell a great story…..this wedding looks like it was so warm, gorgeous and filled with love!
All of the images even the ones where know one was paying attention seemed to have some magic in them. I’m super bummed I didn’t get to meet this couple as they look in their pics like they are people you want to hang out with! Jeff tells me that him self and the rest of our crew had a blast spending the day with them.
Well Jeff and Crystal did a fantastic job grabbing up a multitude of great shots and we’ve picked through some of our absolute favs that we felt you just had to see. Don’t worry you’ll see these two again once their cinematic wedding film is completed in a few short weeks and we’ll share it with ya’ll!
When you hear casino right away you think bright lights big city ding ding ding of the slot machines! Not in this case, Melissa and Cole chose the historic landmark “The San Clemente Casino” for it’s charm and amenities. This historic little gem is home to many many weddings each year and is a fantastic space at that for holding such an occasion with it’s perfect location, and quaint grounds you can be sure to capture many memories here.
Melissa and Cole first booked us last holiday season, I remember meeting Melissa and it was so chilly outside, quite the different from their off beat quite warm middle of the Month San Clemente beach side wedding. Right away we knew Melissa and Cole’s big day would be a blast to shoot! With so many unique details and a great group of people to get to photograph!

We where completely thrilled when Arizona Weddings Magazine contacted us to be the chosen photographer for their Wedding Fantastico event they where putting on last month on October 21st 2012. Given we had never met or where not going to be able to meet the chosen couple until they walked down the isle this was way to exciting to pass up! So in the midst of our busiest month ever (14 bookings) we glady signed up!
The few weeks leading up we got to see a photograph of the lucky winner Penny Brewer and Paul Dominguez, and we also got to see their ideas, colors, theme and so forth! This wedding was so unique and seemed to be completely different then any wedding we’ve ever photographed before!
Please take a look at some of our favorites from Penny and Paul’s on stage nuptuals (yes they had a pretty big audience cheering them on) at the 2012 2nd annual AZ Taco Festival in Scottsdale AZ!

Its always exciting to meet our couples, probably my most favorite part of what we do. We met up with Michelle and Adam in Orange County at a starbucks, heck they even got to meet River who was as I can remember whining for Pink Berry the whole time 🙂
Michelle had all the fantastic plans and ideas about their wedding day and it all sounded so gorgeous. When the day arrived and we got to see all of her details come together it was never what I had imagined. She way out did what my brain was coming up with. The details of their reception where so unique and special and seemed to fit them and their party perfectly.
To this day I have never seen a more beautiful bouqette, I’m a huge fan of succulents and then she brings in that amazing coral color! Ahhh I could have just shot her floral work for hours. Michelle and Adam had a super easy going bridal party and from what I remember they actually enjoyed being lugged out to the desert and placed in the dirt for their bridal portraits. You gotta admit they all look amazing out there in the baren … Read More »
This being my first trip to NYC you’d say I have been pretty pumped up for these two to walk down the isle! Erik and Emily chose The Foundry as their wedding day location and wow is all I have to say. This perfectly aged industrial building was such a gorgeous setting. With three levels, two inside and one outside we had so much fun running around grabbing up different angles and views. You’ll really get to see this place in all it’s beauty in their cinematic wedding film coming soon!
The day started with us capturing Emily’s details and her placing the last few touches on herself before we headed off to the Foundry. John and I walked with the girls grabbing some street footage while Jeff shot the guys with some great raw backgrounds through out the streets. Once we got inside the Foundry we fell in love, it’s wide open space and insanely gorgeous natural light made our jobs a breeze!
Their ceremony was so sweet and very detailed and we enjoyed capturing every moment of it! Please take a look through some of our favorite photos from our first (but not last) New York City Wedding.

You can really see the love in these two! They are so much fun to work with and had so many great moments in their day it was truly simple to capture it all. I’ll never forget Kims request to shut down the London Bridge traffic to capture them during their portrait session and we did! It was awesome, no oncoming traffic complained, instead all cars halted and waited patiently while we captured what we where hoping for. And as they passed I remember them all honking and waving……..ahhhh.
Take a look through some of mine and Jeff”s favorites from their wedding. Kim and Gerrie thank you so much for choosing us we where honored to be a part of your day.

The photos say it all with these two! Completely adorable and in love, getting to photography these two is always fun, they are so animated and basically do everything with out us needing to give them much direction at all 🙂
