And the award for sweetest couple of the year goes to……Kari and Adam!  Seriously love love love these two and their adorableness to each other.  This wedding was so fun to capture!  Lots of smiles, gorgeous venue, great weather and even a little rain or maybe a moderate amount of rain, that held off until literally it was time to walk into the tent.  You know that old wives tale, rain is good luck on the wedding day.

I have to say some of my favorite table top decor I’ve seen, Kari I’m just going to admit it now, I totally stole your idea and placed lemons in a vase on our table at home!  Lol I couldn’t help myself.  Jeff and I had a blast and as always enjoyed working with this amazing couple at an amazing venue!

We couldn’t wait to get our favorites up from this wedding!  This was our first time shooting at this venue and it was very adorable.  Such a lush garden setting you’d never know you where in Mesa Arizona!  Jeanine and John have such a sweet and admirable love for one another it was so fun to follow them around and just let them be.

Awesome awesome fun crowd, lots of love and an easy gorgeous bride and groom.  So yea we sorta got badass photos…..just saying.  We fell in love with these two right away after shooting them for their engagement photos.

Maureen and Kelly had to be the most laid back and easy going couple day of in history!  This group was so much fun and did their wedding in such a cool way!  The took over the entire El Dorado Hotel which in itself is the coolest thing ever!  This is one of those botique hotels off the beaten path you’d never know existing but once you’ve stayed there you can’t wait to go back!

Our artistic ability was on super high that day being surrounded with all the creative shapes, colors, textures and more!  Once the bridal party was ready we headed over to the Icehouse downtown where can I just say I died a little.  This venue is simply badass!  It was an actual Icehouse in 1920, manufacturing 300lb ice blocks for use in the food industry.  It’s super high walls and amazing light make for a ridiculously gorgeous setting!

We hope and will keep fingers crossed that we get to return there once again for another amazing event!  Amongst the fabulous venue there where even better vendors that we had the opportunity to work with who’d we love to give credit to!

When I met Michelle last summer we immediately connected and what was a totally new relationship seemed like old friends!  I love brides who know what they want, yet put so much control in our hands.  Michelle and Jerry had a complete vision of their wedding and how they wanted it to go down, and she truly believed we would capture their event just they way they wanted.

I think our wedding consultation went down as the longest in history just because we hit it off and had so much to chat about.   We are currently finishing up their wedding video and can’t wait to share it here as well!  So stay tuned for that!  One more amazing couple down in our books that I will miss talking to regularly!

We knew we where going to hit it off with these two when we met over Skype!  Super laid back, totally in love easy going on the eyes, what more could a photographer dream of! I’ll never forget Moe’s Iron Maiden shirt, if it wasn’t so out of place I’d rock my IM shirt on their wedding day!  Don’t worry Rachel I would never do that

In typical Janke fashion we  asked these two what they’re into and where they like to spend their time so we could conjure up the best spot to take their engagement pics.  Rachel told me all about this gorgeous walk they like to do and I knew right then that would be our spot!  See Jeff and I have always had our special walks in every neighborhood we’ve ever lived in, so I completely appreciated the uniqueness of this upcoming day!

Just as we knew every shot including the first one was amazing!  Rachel who is quite gorgeous had one knock out look after another and Moe is just as good looking and looks completely smitten in every shot (which I love)!  You can’t go wrong with the look of love…

We did it again, took two lovebirds and stuck them out in the dirt!  Well really they did it to themselves!  Nick began telling us how he and Sashian have a special spot they like to park in their Jeep and watch the sunset while enjoying some wine!  Immediately Jeff and I exchange that look like alright we’re into this

We followed Nick and Sashian to the spot where we had to park the Jeep as it was experiencing technical difficulties, while we let the Jeep “cool off” we traveled down the hillside to take some other photos.  Basically I wanted to bring my brand new graffiti chair and throw it in the dirt and pose these two on it! I mean can you blame me, the chair is awesome and completely brightened up the desert, PLUS it have them a nice clean cushy place to rest their bums!

Anna and Ryan had such a gorgeous wedding with sweet little details and an amazing group of family and friends surrounding them!  This was our first wedding at the Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center and they put on such a great event, we hope to have the opportunity to shoot there again!

Couples like Anna and Ryan who love being photographed are a photographers dream, these two let us shoot picture after picture and where completely ok with it!  The light was just right to get some pretty magical moments on the golf course and I’m pretty sure we followed them back to their reception while snapping the whole time as magic just kept following them.

Sara and Zane had such a sweet and intimate wedding, with lots of laughter and beautiful moments!  The Refuge is always an amazing spot here in Lake Havasu to get married and the pictures are always easy at this venue!  Sara was maybe the most laid back bride of all time.  I think she was even ready early

This little story starts like this…..Charlene emails Amber, Charlene asks “Hey what do you think about shooting our engagement session on a dairy farm?”, Amber replies, “ummmm YES!” and there we have it!

Maybe quite possibly my favorite engagement photos ever!  I know I’ve said this before and I know I’ll say it again, but what a fantastic setting!  We really had endless ideas for this location!

Charlene and Matt are getting married this coming September at an even more amazing location, the Windmill Winery in Florence Arizona.  And on that date we are going to get insanely gorgeous wedding photos to match their insanely adorable engagement session.
